Country-turned-pop star, now indie balladeer, Taylor Swift surprised the world with the release of her 9th studio album, "evermore," her 2nd album less than five months after her grammy nominated album, "folklore."
Swift considered "evermore" as the 'sister record' of her 8th studio album, "folklore." It envelops 15 new sets of songs with 2 more for the deluxe physical edition of the album.
Like "folklore," her new album is jam-packed with atmospheric-like type of songs accompanied with Swift's breathy vocals.
"To put it plainly, we just couldn't stop writing songs," Swift wrote Thursday in an Instagram post during the announcement of the new record.
It was also paired with a music video of the lead track of the album entitled "willow."
Joining Swift in the record were Haim, Bon Iver and The National.
