SB19 becomes 1st Southeast Asian act to claim spot inside top 10 in Billboard's Social artist

Sole Filipino act, SB19 was hailed as sixth place of Billboard’s Social 50 artists for the 2020 year-end catalog.


With the said success, the group is now considered the first Southeast Asian act that have placed inside the chart's top 10 list.

Billboard announced on twitter the list on December 5, 2020, which was dominated by K-Pop acts like BTS (1st), EXO (2nd), NCT 127 (3rd), SEVENTEEN (5th), TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) (7th), ATEEZ (8th), and BLACKPINK (9th).


Meanwhile, American artists such as Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish also made it in the list claiming the 4th and 10th place consecutively.

SB19 was trained by a Korean entertainment company and made their debut last September 2018. They are known for their world renowned hits "Alab", "Go Up", and "Tilaluha”.
