A scavenging dog from Mandaue City was allegedly stabbed causing it to wander around with its intestines out.
Witness says that the dog was initially seen carrying used diapers which cause an individual to throw a knife at it like darts.
Saving Strays Cebu, a rescue group that had already helped numerous stray dogs, posted on their Facebook page today, October 31, 2020, their plea for help in the veterinary expenses of the stabbed dog.
According to their most recent post, the group had already filed an incident report and blotter at Mandaue City Police Station as what had happened is a criminal offense.
The post calling for help had already been shared by more than 150 people and netizens were quick to lend their donations for the surgery and treatment of the dog.
