San Juanico Bridge: "Beacon of Hope" to Samar and Leyte

The San Juanico Bridge Aesthetic Lighting Project (SJBALP) brought visual feast to the public after it was tested yesterday, October 10, 2020.

Even though there was a delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the test lighting of San Juanico Bridge signified resilience of the Filipinos amid crisis.

Samar 2nd District Representative Sharee Ann Tan described the bridge lighting as a "beacon of hope" showing how they rose back after Yolanda and now with the current pandemic.

According to the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), the Php 80M project is expected to further boost tourism and economic activity in both Samar and Leyte and other neighbouring tourist attractions.
