Pope's IG likes brazilian model's photo, sparks investigation

The Pope's official instagram account is being investigated after caught 'liking' a model's photo featuring her posterior.

The "like" in Brazilian model Natalia Garibotto's photo was done under the account @franciscus which have circulated in social media on November 13 but was immediately removed the day after.

The account is known to be maneuvered by a team close to the Vatican, the Catholic News Agency confirmed on Tuesday.

Probing is currently mandated to identify and prove whether the incident was just caused by a slip of the thumb.

Meanwhile, Garibotto regarded the controversial "like" as a huge 'blessing' and believed that it serves as a sign that she's going to heaven.

The Pope's instagram account currently has 7.4 million followers. Despite the huge figure, he did not 'follow' any account.
