Phl to expect four more storms before the year ends— PAGASA

After two destructive tropical cyclones, the Philippines may face four more before calendars are labeled with the year 2021, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

The state weather bureau said that the country has been battered by several typhoons and severe tropical storms starting with Typhoon Quinta(Molave) last month and Super Typhoon Rolly (Goni) which wrecked havoc in the Bicol region early this month.

Today, another typhoon, Ulysses, has made Calabarzon, Central Luzon, and Metro Manila unleash powerful winds and torrential rain that left neighborhoods submerged and people appealing for aid and rescue.

At 4 o'clock this afternoon, the center of the eye of typhoon "ULYSSES" was located based on all available data at 200 km West of Iba, Zambales (15.2 °N, 118.1 °E ).
