A teacher from France who was described to be ‘super nice, super friendly, super kind” by his students was beheaded in the outskirts of Paris at around 5:00 pm (1500 GMT) near the middle school he taught in.
President Emmanuel Macron of France called it “Islamist terrorist attack” because the eyed reason for this act was because the teacher had shown to his students some cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed.
Authorities said that they treated the case as if it were “a murder linked to a terrorist organization” because a witness said that the assailant shouted, “Allahu Akbar” (God is greatest), a cry often heard in jihadist attacks when the police encountered him.
The identity of the murderer has not been provided to the public, but he did later die because of injuries he had gotten when the police chased after him.
However, a judicial source disclosed to the Agence France-Presse (AFP), an international news agency, that four people, including a minor, have been arrested who were related to the assailant.
