The Cebu Provincial Government is currently on the plans of making a new terminal that is able to cater both commuters from the northern and southern parts of Cebu, according to Governor Gwendolyn Garcia in a recently held press conference.
Garcia said that the newly operated Cebu North Bus Terminal (CNBT) which is temporarily located at SM City Cebu's parking area is limited only for two years as what is being agreed upon by the Capitol and the SM Prime Holdings Inc.
“We definitely have to look for a place to have an integrated bus terminal,” said Garcia in reference to the two year limit of the CNBT.
The South Road Properties (SRP) is eyed as a feasible location where the planned terminal will be erected, Garcia added.
Besides CNBT, the Capitol is also currently managing the Cebu South Terminal erected at Natalio Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City.
