Cebu City has concluded the month of October and welcomed the first day of November with less than 200 active cases of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The Department of Health in Region 7, Central Visayas (DOH-7) has monitored 151 active cases of COVID-19 as of October 31.
Data from DOH-7 also showed a declining trend of new COVID-19 cases and a continued increase of recoveries.
There were no recorded deaths from October 25 to October 31, leaving the death toll at 678. The entire Cebu will be under the modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) until November 31.
Cebu City was once the "epicenter of the virus outbreak" in Central Visayas.
