Bow-WOW: Green-furred puppy born in Italy

Christian Mallocci, a farmer in Italy, welcomed a puppies with one having a rare color- green. The puppy was a little-bit different not because it was born extra tiny or with a cool pattern in his fur but due to it's color.

The owner directly named the tiny dog Pistachio after being born unique among the its other four sibling who each had white fur same color to mixed-breeded mom.

It was thought to happen when pale-colored puppies have contact in the womb with a green pigment called biliverdin, a pigment that makes our bruises sometimes appear green.

The puppies peculiar color is said not last forever, in fact, the bright green color will fade as the dog grows older.

The green puppy was first seen last October 9 at a farm on the Island of Sardinia, in Pattada, Italy.
