Armless Fil-Am pilot soars in "Dreamers" documentary

Filipino-American Jessica Cox, known as the world's first armless pilot stars in "Dreamers" documentary.

Cox is the world's first licensed armless pilot and the first armless black-belter in the American Taekwondo Association.

As a child, Cox was restricted yet she would always daydream of being 'Superwoman'. Year 2005, a non-profit organization approached Cox and asked if she'd be inclined to fly an airplane.

Cox instantly became hooked after trying it and worked for 3 years to get a license.

“I was working with one of the producers and he asked me, in addition to what we were working on, he asked if I wanted to be part of ‘Dreamers’ and I was very happy to be a part of it and to also represent my Filipino culture because you'll see a little clip in there of me doing tinikling, which I've practiced growing up. And so I was very fortunate to be able to include different aspects of my life to help inspire other people to dream big and to never let anything stand in their way,” Cox said in an interview with Yong Chavez, ABS-CBN's Hollywood correspondent.

Along with billionaire-philanthropist Richard Branson, Anousheh Ansari, CEO of XPRIZE, Lisa Nichols founder of 'Motivating the Masses', this marks another milestone for her as her story is set to be featured in the said documentary for dreaming and believing that she can achieve whatever she wants with determination.

The documentary aims to inspire millions to dream bigger, to dream your own dream, and to live a life that has meaning and fulfillment.

As of now, the release date of the documentary is still unknown.
